About the Caribbean Drone Camp

The Caribbean Drone Camp is a five-day intensive workshop designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate drones safely and effectively.

The camp will be held from June 22–26, 2026, over five days of immersive learning and practical training.

Participants will gain practical experience through supervised drone flights, mapping exercises, and real-world data collection in the field.

Level I Certification
Level I Certification

Participants who successfully complete the camp will receive Level I certification, recognising their foundational training in drone operations and applications.

What Participants Will Learn
What Participants Will Learn

Participants will gain hands-on experience across the full drone workflow, including understanding drone technology, piloting and mapping techniques, and processing and analysing aerial imagery to produce useful knowledge products.

These skills can be applied across multiple sectors and professional contexts where drone operations support research, monitoring, planning, and decision-making.

 

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive Level I certification.
